Dr. Janine Tash is a UF graduate and has practiced veterinary medicine in Gainesville for 28 years.  One of her specialties, is sports medicine, including chiropractic, acupuncture, cold laser and theraputic ultrasound. She loves knowing that  her knowledge of sports medicine can help four legged atheletes, and help older dogs and cats who have trouble getting up, bounce out of the hospital. 

On her days off, she is busy in the show ring. She has shown her dogs in obedience for 31 years, and agility for 22 years. This is where her love of animal behavior and sports medicine were developed.

Dr. Ruth-Ann Spinosa graduated from the University of Florida College of Agriculture and Life Sciences with a B.S. in Animal Sciences in 2001.  She continued her studies at the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine and obtained her D.V.M. in 2005 and has been with Aalatash Animal Hospital ever since.  Dr. Spinosa enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine with a special interest in acupuncture, feline medicine, and dermatology.

Dr. Spinosa's husband Chris, is a Clinical with Gore, a medical devices company.  They have two small children, Emma and Ian.  When not chasing her children, 4 cats, and 2 dogs, Dr. Spinosa is an avid reader, runner, and enjoys attending Gator football games.

Dr. Darryl Jang graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech in 2004.  He practiced in Massachusetts for two years before moving to the warmer Florida climate, where he has practiced at AAlatash since 2006.  You may occassionally see him working at the local pet emergency hospital, too.

Dr. Jang is a native of California.  He graduate from the University of California at Davis in 1988, and worked for 10 years as a research chemist.  He returned to school to become a veterinarian.  Dr. Jang's love of feline medicine has developed over a life time, starting with his love for cats as a child.  Dr. Jang and his wife Rhonda share their home with their two cats.
